Our Story

Chef George Edwards' remarkable culinary journey began in Brazil and led him through diverse experiences that shaped his unique approach to cooking. From his early days as a butcher to his success as a top salesman for Häagen-Dazs, every chapter of his career added layers to his culinary understanding. His adventure aboard a fishing vessel gave him intimate knowledge of the native fishing trade, teaching him to source the highest quality seafood—knowledge that perfectly complements our coastal New Jersey location.

His impressive career includes showcasing his talents at prestigious establishments like DG Basil's and Bella Napoli in New York City, followed by successful ownership of George's Grill and Moon River in Bricktown. As a Promotional Executive Chef for the Black Tiger Shrimp Company and a member of Strathmore's Who's Who, Chef George's contributions to the restaurant industry have earned widespread recognition.
